It was a foggy morning for this engagement session in Baltimore City. We started early in the day to avoid the crowd so the session went pretty smoothly without having to wait for people to pass by. June and Max has amazing chemistry even during the early time of day. They are so comfortable with one another and it was delightful to see how loving they were to each other. We started the shoot at Fells Point and stopped by the church on Mt. Vernon, and ended the session at Federal Hill. I had such a great time with this loving couple. Looking forward to their wedding!
 

Sunny and Jonathan wanted to have their engagement session at Maryland’s treasured Assateague Island. This location is very close to Ocean City but has wild horses that roam the land. We decided to have a portion of the session at St. Michaels first since we were passing by the area. St. Michaels has a quirky historic town that we were able to do some fun, casual, and playful poses at. We used lollipops and ice cream cones as props to add a punch of color to the shoot. It was great to see how Sunny and Jonathan enjoyed being with one another. They were smiling and laughing throughout the entire shoot which made it enjoyable for me as well.
When we arrived at Assateague Island, I was amazed how there were horses everywhere nonchalantly just hanging out. It was pretty obvious that they are used to tourists and felt safe around people as they allowed us to get close to get some photos with them. We went to the beach area of the location and while it was quite beautiful, the wind was so fierce that day that it was hard to do anything near the water. It was a great experience visiting Assateague Island and really appreciating the nature. Thank you Sunny and Jonathan. Looking forward to your wedding in a few weeks!
 

Jane and Charles’ engagement session took place in the beautiful city of New York. We wandered all around starting with the streets of Manhattan to capture shots that portray the urban city vibe. Every street, every corner was filled with life and color that no matter where we shot, the background was amazing. New York is an extremely crowded city but people were nice enough to stop to let us get a few shots for which we were grateful! We also went to High Line Park and parts of Brooklyn including Dumbo which had an interestingly different feel than Manhattan. Jane and Charles were so easy going and incredible that day walking around for long periods of time enduring the heat. We had such a great time during this trip to New York and cannot wait to go back for their wedding day!

Lindsey and Jae’s session was an engagement and a pre-wedding session. A pre-wedding is a photography session of the bride and groom in their wedding attire and taken before the wedding day. This relieves the stress of having to do all the portraits on the day of the wedding. It’s a very popular tradition in Korea. The day was hot as expected since it was Summer. Lindsey and Jae were very shy in the beginning but eventually warmed up and we ended up having a great time. Jae was a complete gentleman, always helping Lindsey and taking care of her. It was very sweet to witness how they were together.
