Old Ellicott City Senior Portrait | Torrie

Torrie’s senior portraits took place in Old Ellicott City. Since the session was taken in November, a quirky town seemed like a good choice to bring some color into the images. After being so used to posing two people together it was very different to have to pose a single person for a change. Regardless we had a blast during the session and Torrie seemed to overcome being camera shy very quickly. Congrats on being a senior Torrie! Hope you have a great senior year!

Howard County Conservancy | Ian's First Year Portrait

Ian is a baby boy that is dear to my heart. I witnessed this baby grow from birth to now and I can’t wait to see the person he will become in the future. I don’t photograph babies much, but I’m starting to enjoy it more these days as I get to see how loving these families are. Here are the photos from Ian’s first year portrait session. This baby was all smiles and laughter throughout the day with bits of dancing in between. Happy birthday Ian!

Serena | Rawlings Conservatory & Botanical Gardens Family Portrait

Serena’s portraits for her first birthday took place in the Howard Peters Rawlings Conservatory in Baltimore, Maryland. It was perfect because it provided an indoor location for the session so we were able to avoid the cold, but it still has a lot of landscaping to give an outdoor feel. In other words, the most ideal location for cold hard February! The session went really well and I loved the enthusiasm of the family. Serena was an angel throughout. Looking forward to her birthday in a few weeks!

Theresa's Portrait Session

I recently had the pleasure of photographing a good friend and fellow photographer Theresa Choi. Check out her amazing work here. We were on our way to the location that we had initially chosen for the shoot when we happen to pass by a deserted train station near by. We stopped to look around and decided that this was a better location for the shoot. The ruggedness of the area gave a lot of drama in the photographs.
