I was really looking forward to Ginnie and Chris’ engagement session in Philadelphia. They had asked if we could have the session at a church in Bryn Athyn. Seeing the photos of the cathedral got me pretty excited. The church was beautiful. Going there and seeing it in person, it was even more beautiful then I had imagined. The weather was a bit cold but Ginnie and Chris were amazing. We began the session with a casual look around the city and ended with a more formal look with the sunset at the cathedral. I’m grateful that I had this opportunity and I am really looking forward to their wedding in Philadelphia!
 

Soo Jin and Peter’s engagement session was such a romantic one. You can tell how much the two are in love by the way they kept looking at each other. He constantly made efforts to make her laugh. It was really nice to see how sweet they are together. The weather was wonderful all throughout the day and the session just felt so natural like we were taking a stroll through the park.
 

Daniel’s proposal to Hana was so sweet and extremely thoughtful. He had planned an afternoon at Black Ankle Vineyards to taste some wine, propose, have a Chipotle lunch (Hana’s favorite), and also spend time with their close friends…all with the element of surprise. Discretion was key to making all this happen. My wife Julie and I posed as guests tasting wine while Daniel and Hana’s friends were in the back hiding. The plan worked as Hana had no idea and was completely surprised when Daniel proposed. Their friends came out of hiding afterwards to congratulate. The rest of the afternoon was filled with tears of joy and laughter. Congratulations Hana and Daniel! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this important day for you two. I had such a great time!

I’ve known Jiehye and Yong Il before they were even dating. When they asked me to be their photographer for their wedding, I was so excited and so happy for them. This engagement session was special because I was able to see how they interacted with one another as a couple. Though I’ve seen them from time to time, they were never the type to display public affection. This day, I was able to see how sweet they are together. Holding hands, giggling, and talking to each other so happily. It was great seeing how happy they are together and I’m truly honored to be able to capture their love. The session took place in Washington, D.C. and we roamed around the gardens, the Capitol, the Jefferson Memorial, and the Library of Congress.
